Why we should respect a singer

I understand and fully agree that we should respect each other.But I don't understand why we should someone just because he or she is a singer.A singer is just like me or you,a member in the world.I don't think a singer will make greater contribution to our society and our world because she or he is able to sing or sing much better than me.When you think you are different the others and you should earn more respect,you are despising me or the others.Respect come from what you have done but not from what you are.

(星島日報 報道)謝安琪 （Kay）昨日出席商台 義賣慈善活動，呼籲市民慷慨解囊為紅十字會 籌款。

　　對於容祖兒 被林依麗譏諷為「歌星仔」一事，曾傳出兩人不和的Kay謂︰「其實我沒看過那段片，但歌手是一個專業及值得尊重的行業，她如此貶低一個行業是非常不尊重，我覺得任何行業都應該得到別人的尊重。」

　　問到對林依麗的言論會否反感？Kay說︰「一個人的言語反映到她內心的價值觀，價值觀人人不同，我不會很嬲，但人是否要分貴賤及等級呢？這個值得大家反省。不過，我未受過其他人的白眼。」

　　此外，Kay透露兒子剛入讀幼稚園，首次返學已經很適應，不用她擔心。文、圖︰康蕎
