I don't want to introduce kids to two concepts too early - 1.bank fes 2.having to walk a long way to a bank such that you keep your money under the mattress (or in a piggy bank or whatever).
However I used to look forward to interest payment in my SCB Donald Duck account...nowadays this is something kids don't get to look forward to.
