Bit difficult to understand.But salient points (either from T&C or CS):
For all new spending from 9 Nov-31 Jan
- all your basic points gets compulsorily converted to miles at $12:1AM (min 1,000 AM,normally at 1,000 AM conversion rate is $15:1AM)
- conversion fee for the miles waived
- an extra reward of AM equal to the number of miles converted will be credited to your account (effectively 2X)
Other noteworthy points:
- Based on local retail spending only.Overseas/internet/autopay (and a whole load of other stuff)not counted.
- If you have an MC/Visa along with AE,spending on MC/Visa also counts
- Letter of redemption will be sent in March.You must key in your AM at the SCB website.
- Basic points only.If you have 2X from SCB AE,the 2X portion of the points will still be credited to your account as usual.
- No pre-registration now - can start spending.But have to key in your AM at SCB website.
