Bullish Reason
Federal Reserve will hold their meeting on Sep 18, and the market consensus is that they will lower the interest rate from 25 to 50 bp.
Generally speaking, lower interest rate translate to a higher stock prices because it lower the cost of equity.
Bearish Reason
However, according to
http://www.hsi.com.hk, the latest weighted average P/E ratio as of August is 18.12. Yes, it's rather high in my opinion. Please see the attached graph that I've compiled with their data.
