P = Market Price of the share
E = Earning (not divident paid)
(I suggest that the Earning should deducted the non-operating profit)
for example
the profit for the year is $1
the market price is $10
then $10/$1 = 10
general speaking if you hold the share for ten years,
you will get back all your money
P.S. it is only one analytical skill, you should consider all other factors
my opinion is
the industial factor
the managament facotor
the competition of market
