佐治魯卡斯讚真正靈魂《星戰》R2-D2演員Kenny病逝

R2-D2御用演員Kenny Baker上週六於家中病逝，享年81歲。
荷李活經典電影《星球大戰》（Star Wars）、扮演機械人R2-D2的英國演員Kenny Baker，於上週六在英國普雷斯頓的家中病逝，被姪仔Drew Myerscough發現於睡夢中離世，享年81歲，其死訊傳出後，廣大影迷及其《星戰》拍檔相繼留言悼念。

近年健康欠佳的Kenny指影迷是其動力。
[b]演首6集《星戰》[/b]
身高3.8呎的Kenny，從1977年起成為《星戰》首6集的R2-D2御用演員，去年底上映的《星球大戰：原力覺醒》（Star Wars：The Force Awakens），他則參與幕後。
下週三生日的Kenny，近年健康欠佳，肺部及呼吸出現問題，去年12月他曾應邀參加《星戰7》於倫敦舉行的大型首映，但未能繼續洛杉磯的行程，倫敦首映成為他最後一次公開露面。近年他由姪仔Drew照顧生活起居，Drew透露Kenny受病魔困擾，影迷的支持成為他的動力。

導演佐治魯卡斯指Kenny是R2-D2的真正心臟與靈魂。
[b]拍檔留言不捨[/b]
Kenny的死訊傳出後，不少圈中人於網上留言悼念，包括一班《星戰》拍檔，導演佐治魯卡斯（George Lucas）說：「一位有才華的喜劇演員經常為所有人帶來歡樂，Kenny是R2-D2的真正心臟與靈魂，所有認識他的人及粉絲都會懷念他。」「天行者」麥克咸美（Mark Hamill）：「再見，Kenny Baker，我終身忠誠的朋友，我喜歡他的樂觀及決心，他是我一直尋找的機器人。」少年Obi-Wan伊雲麥葵格（Ewan McGregor）以及演黑武士、老牌演員David Prowse也有留言致哀。
Kenny於50年代入行，除《星戰》系列，也演過《像人》（An Elephant Man）及《時光大盜》（Time Bandits），在70年與Eileen Baker結婚，育有兩名兒子。
