年輕時好鍾意食法國餐,好有派頭,又好食。十年前已停止食法國餐,因為好膩,再而古老的酒店式法國餐廳全部要dress up,討厭。不過近三幾年,香港初見casual French restaurants,正!

近三幾年喺法國啲年輕嘅廚好鍾意喺一啲核突區頂一間酒吧或餐廳,裝修都費事嘥錢,直攞隻鑊入去就煮,他們的理念係慳啲無謂錢,將啲錢放番入食物處,質料好些。雖則在核突區,但仍能以好的食物吸引客人遠道而來。

最近喺濕的灣仔街市中心就有呢間casual French restaurant"Serge et le Phoque"!好似上手搬走啲招牌只係拆走,仲見到啲爛膠片後的光管。我鍾意,租已經貴,仲裝乜修,畀啲好料我食吓啦!他們做得到!

食物只得set lunch
(3 courses)$250一位
set dinner
(4 courses)$550一位
我食Lunch。我和朋友三人組,好彩佢的選擇又係三樣,所以我哋決定法菜中食,叫晒所有的選擇,大家可以樣樣試吓。

係tuna和一片小柑橘,lunch都好仔細。

STARTER

Hen egg-Squid Ink-corn半生蛋攪爛,好食,最後再用熱辣辣切出來的麥包蘸啲汁更好!

Asparagus-Herring見到啲蘆筍咁新鮮都開胃啦!好好食。

Squid-Brussels Sprouts-Saucisson睇落好似麻麻,但係啲魷魚好新鮮,煮到剛熟,腍得嚟又有臲頭,原汁原味,超正!

有魚有肉,我哋三個都揀肉。今日係食豬扒,豬扒還好,clams有點腥,最可愛係豬扒上面的菜心花,通常我摘菜心就將呢啲花拔走晒,佢偏偏就用來點綴,令全碟嘢活潑起來。聰明!又學到嘢了。

DESSERT

Beet Root Sorbet最好食Lemon Cream-Capsicum,來非好食,又唔膩。Dacquoise-Vanilla Cream-Nougatine,好甜,我唔鍾意。

$250的午餐完了我哋仲好似餓餓哋,於是叫了cheese$80

樣樣都好,係啲coffee and tea差啲。已再約了另外幾個朋友去食dinner了。

走時在門口碰到老闆之一法國仔Charles同來自新加坡大廚Nicholas,我哋仲嚟一個selfie!!!
