生產Hybrid混能車是汽車新趨勢，這亦會於2014年延續。
在日本本土的Mazda3又名為AXELA，其SKYACTIV-G汽油引擎，成功使用於CX-5及新Mazda6的車種上，而今趟新Mazda3更配有i-ELOOP電池馬達，動力在減速時會回收備用。頭燈、鬼面罩等則繼續以新Mazda6家族的「魂動」概念為主打。此車現正於日本預售中，相信會現身於東京車展會場，想了解更多關於此車的資訊，不妨上日本官網，欣賞一段有關此車的廣告片。
