我都唔係幾記得實數，好似 $5400 - $5700 左右.
我用過好幾張 Asus，我d朋友都好多係用 Asus. 但係佢成日死 PS2 port.
個 sales 同我講，買 Asus 就買黑色個d (Deluxe 版級)，如果唔係就不如唔好買喎‧
個d成千蚊塊， over budget 啦‧
其實我都冇點睇過就落手買機啦，有好多野都有d後悔‧
好似 display card 咁，我都唔洗用都咁勁，因為我係唔會打機的‧
我只係怕如果用d屎d的 display card ，有時用 Virtual PC 或 一d graphic intensive 的 software 會慢或用咗我 CPU 資源‧
我張 display card GPU 係 620Mhz ，買完之後先見到有張 520Mhz 但係只係用 heat sink (no fan).
因為屋企有狗，會怕d狗毛入咗去 fan 度‧
隻牛又係，佢跌餐比隻 2th Max 420Watt 我，但係我又唔醒起，我屋企有兩隻 GTR (北極光) 450Watt，其實唔洗買牛‧
買機時已經叫咗個 Sales 同d師父講話要 front panel 都用到 mic & speaker ，因為好多朋友同自己都試過好幾次 front panel audio 係唔 work. 佢地係咁試，搞到我遲一日先攞到機‧個時我又唔想上去佢個磡機場到，叫佢放係店到等我攞(我冇試過機，諗住都信得過佢地，因為都幫親咗幾年).點知，番到去， front audio 一樣唔 work.
我自己 check 過 d jumper 又冇錯喎，我住又住得遠，最尾都係算數‧
用咗唔夠三日就開始出現問題，有時開到機但係BIOS test 都過唔到 (冇 beep)‧要開幾次 or 開咗一陣 reset 先得‧
過咗幾個星期先知道，開唔到機的原因係 CPU fan 有時開機時係 spin 唔起‧怪就怪在，spin 起後，一切都會正常 (CPU temp 28C)‧
仲知就黑仔啦. 我都同個 sales 講，我同佢八字唔岩‧幫開我手個個 sales 走咗冇耐，呢個係另一個 (佢係老細個細佬，都好多年架啦)

did you ever try virtualbox? it's newly and faster than vmware. i use virtualbox in my old computer (ubuntu as host and win xp as guest with 192 mb), win xp run as fast as native.

冇用過 virtual box 呀，但係都聽過佢個名‧
遲d買多個 hard disk 先玩 Linux. 用來做 primary OS...呵呵呵~~
你都得架啦，咁少 RAM 都行 virtual machine.
其實我唔知我咁諗法啱唔啱，但係如果你粒 CPU 係 64 bit ，你個 OS 又係 64 bit ，但係你冇要到 limit ，以你的 guest OS 係 32 bit ， 個 guest OS 一定可以到 native speed. 我知佢係用來打機，但係都 ok 唔算好貴‧
我個 primary OS 係 Vista 嘛，用靚少少 display card 冇所謂啦‧
我試過睇 DVD，用一部有靚 display card 同用一部屎屎地的 display card， CPU load 都差好完‧
